Face-lift
There's nothing quite like the feeling of looking younger
Facelift
A facelift is a popular cosmetic procedure that can turn back the clock and reverse signs of aging such as sagging jowls. During a facelift, Dr. Yañez skillfully removes excess skin from the neck, jowls, and cheeks to tighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure which often includes a neck lift, typically takes between 3-5 hours under general anesthesia and requires an overnight hospital stay. While recovery time can involve some bruising and swelling, this typically subsides over the first few weeks.
You’ll need to undergo a full medical check-up prior to the procedure. This is performed right in our facilities. This will include all standard pre op exams such as a blood check with our Certus Lab partner, an EKG, blood pressure monitoring and a consultation with our internal medicine specialist Dr Benjamin Calvo.
Facelift scars are hidden behind the ears in the hairline and fade over time. Following the procedure, you may notice your hairline has been “lifted,” which may require a change in hairstyle. The muscle and its fibrous attachment are secured tightly in front and behind the ear as an extra sling under the chin. A brow lift can also be carried out alongside a facelift to treat sagging eyebrows and forehead wrinkles.Fat can also be transferred to nasolabial folds for optimal results.

Many patients choose facial, neck, or chin surgery(chin implant) to revitalize their appearance and create a natural, youthful expression. It’s important to note that a facelift is a big decision, and your surgeon will provide you with all the information you need to make an informed choice.
Blepharoplasty
This can be performed alone or as part of a facelift. We can work on either the lower or lower eyelid or both.
The idea behind this procedure is to correct drooping upper eyelids and bags under the lower eyelids. This gives you a constant appearance of being weary and older.
The procedure is relatively short and is performed under general anesthesia. The upper eyelids surgery is an outpatient procedure. The patient should have his or her eyelid stitches removed 5 to 7 days after the surgery.
Rhinoplasty
This is a very common procedure in facial cosmetic surgery. These procedures are often refer to “Nose job”.
Sometimes it is only necessary to reshape the tip of the nose, for example, if it is bulbous. The most frequent nose remodeling is what is known as standard rhinoplasty. In this, we fix the bridge of the nose with the tip. A more complicated procedure is the septo-rhinoplasty. In this case, all elements can be retouched as well to repair or modify the nasal septum.
It is performed under general anesthesia and you must stay in the hospital overnight. Expect two weeks to return to work, and that the edema and hematoma also last two weeks. You may feel a bit of obstruction, as if you had a cold and a sore throat. An external nose splint is usually left in place for about a week or two after rhinoplasty. A rhinoplasty can have surprising results, which will completely change the profile of your face.
Botox
Getting Botox takes only a few minutes and no anesthesia is required. Botox is injected with a fine needle into specific muscles with only minor discomfort. It generally takes three to seven days to take full effect and it is best to avoid alcohol at least one week prior to treatment. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications should be stopped two weeks before treatment as well in order to reduce bruising.
