Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a one to two hour surgical procedure designed to sculpt the external vaginal structures by reducing and/or reshaping long or uneven labia. Childbirth, the aging process, and the effects of gravity may all erode the beauty of the female genitalia including the labia minora, labia majora, and perineum. Long labia minora may interfere with exercise or intercourse, and may cause embarrassment for some when wearing certain clothes, such as bathing suits, leggings, or jeans which may call attention to any bulge. Over time the labia majora may relax and sag, while the perineum may show signs of scarring from an episiotomy or laceration incurred during childbirth.

Hymenoplasty

Hymen reconstruction surgery, also known as hymen surgery, hymenoplasty surgery or Hymen Rejuvenation, is the surgical repair of the hymen. Using a surgical technique, the torn edges of the hymen are put back together. If done correctly, to the visible eye, there is no apparent scarring and the hymen appears intact. After this type of hymen surgery and without complication, subsequent intercourse will typically tear the membrane causing pain and bleeding.

Vaginoplasty

Vaginal rejuvenation is not an aesthetic procedure – it is a functional procedure involving the tightening of the inner and outer muscles and structures of the vagina enhancing vaginal muscle tone, strength, and control.

While the details of this procedure will be discussed with Dr. yanez during your consultation, it is important to understand the primary goal of vaginal tightening is to enhance sexual gratification for the patient. This is achieved by reducing the external diameter of the vagina and tightening the internal muscles to a patient’s specifications, thereby increasing friction experienced during intercourse. A laser may or may not be used for this procedure. Dr. Yanez will discuss the benefits and risks of the different options available.
